Undergraduate students
We currently welcome Bachelor and Master students from the UK or the EU who are interested in doing their research projects in database development or biomedical signal processing. Reach out to the PI at r.moreddu@soton.ac.uk.
PhD students
Departmentally funded positions for the academic year 2024/2025 have been filled. We have an opening for an internally funded PhD position in nanobiotechnologies for cancer signalling for European/UK students starting in January 2026 or April 2026. We also have a competition-based open PhD position within the EPSRC Center for Doctoral Tranining in Quantum Technology Engineering. Read more at the provided link. Postdoctoral researchers who wish to join us are encouraged to seek independent funding through the MSCA postdoctoral fellowships, CSC fellowship (Chinese nationals), fellowships for US nationals, EPSRC schemes, or others. We provide close support on preparing these proposals.
