Departmentally funded positions for the academic year 2024/2025 have been filled. We have an opening for an internally funded PhD position in nanotechnologies to probe cancer electromechanics or in computer science applied to biophysics for European/UK residents starting in January 2026 or April 2026. Prospective applicants in other areas can also reach out to the PI to discuss fellowship opportunities through external funders. We are skilled in providing close support on preparing your proposals. We are also happy to welcome visiting PhD students from the UK or the EU who wish to use our facilities or collaborate.

Postdoctoral researchers who wish to join us are encouraged to seek independent funding through the MSCA postdoctoral fellowships, CSC fellowship (Chinese nationals), fellowships for US nationals, EPSRC schemes, or others. We provide close support on preparing these proposals.
